Yesterday's experiment, aka my last post, is now over. Thank you to those who played along, that took a degree of courage, even if you used the anonymous option.

A few people have asked me what the point of that was - after all, it could be read as a desperate cry for attention, a not so subtle sign that I'm unhappy in my marriage, or just that I'm a skeevy perv who cruises lj to try and get laid. In this instance, none of those scenarios are true - I know, I know, try to contain your disappointment at the fact that I'm not an attention starved perv who is trapped in a loveless marriage. My reasons for posting the meme were actually fairly simple/straight forward; I wanted to see what would happen if I pushed the envelope in a particular direction. I view my use of memes as sort of this bizarre social experiment and this was just another example of that.

Hopefully, y'all weren't too offended/scandalized.

First off, a warm thank you to everyone who weighed in on the last poll. I love these glimpses behind the curtains of your eyes and it is always interesting when an unexpected visitor shows up.

Point the second, mortgage pre-approval papers to sign tonight. Aieeeeeeee! We're on the road to becoming homeowners!!!

Lastly, I've been doing a lot of thinking recently on how I love. Recent events forced me to take a look at myself in the mirror and re-examine some of my longer held notions. Life is a learning process, that is for sure.

In other news, I have a new found respect for writers. Dialog is a vexing thing for me and anyone who can manage it rawks the hizaus. Unless I don't like them. In which case, I appreciate their talents, but will not countenance any hizaus rawking by them.
